NEUF BRISACH

This view is of one of the eight points of the inner wall looking out. The bunkers were used by the enemy and civilians during bombing and artillery fire. The attacking Americans were shown the way into Neuf Brisach through moat tunnels by civilians. In one case a group of children pointed the way for the attacking American troops.
