THE LIBERATION OF ROME
As the Allied troops approached Rome, Fifth Army Commander Mark Clark, 1st Special Forces Commander Robert T. Frederick (who later commanded the Operation Dragoon airdrop and then the 45th Infantry Division), and II Corps Commander Geoffrey Keyes, along with fellow officers, inspect maps while military correspondents and photographers look on.
