RIEDWIHR
Communication wire runs into Riedwihr over the base of an overturned German PaK40 anti-tank gun in the Colmar Pocket. The 15th Regiment had taken Riedwihr by midnight on Jan. 25 and had advanced patrols toward Wickerschwihr. The same day marked the end to the German offensives in the Ardennes and around Strasbourg.
