HACHIMETTE

The 7th Regiment Battle Patrol is deployed for winter training in the snowy fields of Hachimette. An infantryman's enemies in winter include frostbite and trench foot. Snow-ready G.I. "Shoe Pacs" had reached the division in December. The first weeks of January were frigid and snowing with the 3rd Division in mostly static defensive action along its position facing Colmar.
