MONTELIMAR
These snipers were caught in Montelimar by F.F.I. soldiers on August 29, 1944 as the city was liberated from German occupation. The 15th Regiment grabbed 450 prisoners on the 29th and the 30th Regiment, moping up in Montelimar, tallied several hundred more August 30. The 141st, 143rd, and 7th regiments tallied 1,200 captured from the 28th-29th while losing 17 killed, 60 wounded and 15 missing.
