OBERSALZBURG - April 25, 1945
The Obersalzburg complex was targeted by 359 R.A.F. bombers with almost 100 Eighth Air Force Mustangs escorting on April 25, 1945. Most of the complex is visible here in this aerial photograph as what appears to be the first bomb, most likely a tallboy, exploding in the open area in front of the Berghof.
