RED BEACH - BAY OF CAVALAIRE
An LST unloads a line of 2-and-a-half-ton trucks on the floating pier at Red Beach. The rapid advance of VI Corps during the 30 days following the landings pressed the efforts of supplying advancing vehicles and troops with gasoline, food, and supplies to the "fluid" front line.
