RED BEACH - BAY OF CAVALAIRE
An LCI sends its troops ashore at Red Beach. In the distance at the east side of the beach, LST 17 uses a floating pier to unload vehicles. The 0800 assault force landing of the 7th Regiment at Red Beach was followed by the 30th Regiment.
