SALZBURG - SCHLOSS KLESSHEIM
Schloss Klessheim was shrouded in camouflage to hide anti-aircraft guns and defensive positions when 3rd Division forces captured it on May 4, 1945. The 3rd Division's unit history describes Schloss Klessheim as "Hitler's guesthouse for visiting foreign plenipotentiaries".
