COLMAR POCKET
An aerial view of one of the villages in the Colmar Pocket shows the results of warming temperatures that turned the terrain from frozen ground to mud. The 3rd Division's fight in the Colmar Pocket is considered among its most accomplished actions in WWII along with its battles at Anzio.
