HACHIMETTE
The officer in charge of the 7th Infantry Battle Patrol in Hachimette on January 10, passes out new snow capes to his men in mid-January. Before these capes were available the soldiers made their own snow camouflage from mattress covers and sheets. The new capes were credited in lowering battle patrol casualties.
