RIEDWIHR
At Riedwihr, an L-4 "Grasshopper" operates from an icy position during action in the Colmar Pocket. Designed by Piper in the 1930s, the L-4 was used for observation, reconnaissance and artillery spotting and is the same type of plane used for the photographer's aerial photo missions.
