On the following day, April 21, the 30th Regiment, sporting new jackets, boots and helmets, represented the 3rd Division along with the 42nd and 45th divisions, at the official flag-raising ceremony for XV Corps and the Seventh Army in Nuremberg's Hauptmarkt.
