STRASBOURG
Two weeks of garrison duty in Strasbourg had its restful and playful moments for the 3rd Division. By December 15, 3rd Dvision units were already in position for an attack into the Colmar bulge as attachments to the French First Army. Other Seventh Army troops including the 44th Division held a large region to the north of the city.
