FLASSAN
On the road connecting Flassans-sur-Issole and Brignoles, a GI inspects the remains of what appears to be a German 8.8 cm Flak18 anti-aircraft gun pushed to the side of the road. The 2nd Battalion of the 30th Regiment captured Flassans-sur-Issole at 1200 hours on August 17.
