FUSCHL - VON RIBBENTROP'S ESTATE

The 3rd Division had its own swimming hole during its Austrian vacation. Joachim von Ribbentrop was the Nazi foreign minister who had a castle home (now a hotel) in Fuschl near Salzburg. Ribbentrop was found culpable at the Nuremberg Trials and executed for his involvement forcing occupied countries to export Jewish populations to Germany for execution.
