SALZBURG, Austria

Gen. John W. O'Daniel decorates a 3rd Division Colonel in Salzburg, Austria. O'Daniel later served in Indochina in the mid-1950s heading the "advisory" role of 3-400 Americans (MAAG) that led to American training of the South Vietnamese Army under Ngo Dinh Diem.
