OBERSALZBURG - May 1945

On the west side of the Berghof was a terrace often photographed during the year's Hitler lived at the Berghof by the official photographer as well as the stills and movie film shot by Eva Braun. One of the bomb hits on the Berghof was behind the terrace on the attached part of the Haus Wachenfeld that was part of the post-1934 expansion. This is the view westerly seen from the terrace of the Beghof.
