LONS-LE-SAUNIER
The practice of branding and banishing women who consorted intimately with Nazi soldiers is repeated in Lons-le-Saunier as these women are lead to prison. Vindictive behavior towards these women and those accused of collaboration continued even after the war including laws enacted to prohibit their civil rights.
