SAINT DIE
On 14 November the Germans began three days of devastation in St. Die by burning and destroying buildings and factories. On November 16 and 17 the four bridges over the river and three railway bridges were destroyed. American troops around St. Die reported many explosions November 10-12 as the Germans set fire to the city.
