NOMPATELIZE
Another view of the Bailey bridge across the Meurthe River at Nompatelize. The 15th Regiment passed through Nompatelize with medium and light tanks, and tank destroyers. It was near this area that Private Wilburn K. Ross fought bravely through eight counterattacks over a five-hour battle to earn the Medal of Honor.
