KAISERLAUTERN
Thousands of German soldiers surrendered as Allied troops stormed into Germany in March 1945. This group is assembled in Kaiserlautern, Germany and is a combined lot of prisoners from both the Third Army and the Seventh Army action in the area. The German army that escaped from France had one out of six soldiers conscripted from conquered countries.
