PONT-A-MOUSSON

Soldiers on pass in Nancy, France, admire Stanislas, the last Duke of Lorraine, father-in-law to Louis XIV and Polish exile credited with the rebuilding of Nancy in the 18th Century. After its fight in the Colmar Pocket in January, the 3rd Division was transferred to the vicinity of Pont-a-Mousson to the northeast of Nancy.
