KAISERLAUTERN
The wreck of a German 2 cm FlaK30 anti-aircraft gun litters the roadside to Kaiserlautern which was captured by Patton's Third Army as it swept across the Saar. Beyond Kaiserlautern, the 3rd Division nestled against the Rhine River for the third time during the war on March 23, 1945.
