RIMSCHWEILLER
Further up the road, 3rd Division soldiers advance cautiously through Rimschweiler, Germany in March 1945. The street is the Vogenstrasse and the belfry of the village school is seen in the background. To the north, General Patton's 3rd Army was sweeping across the territory through Kaiserlautern to the Rhine in a maneuver that would cut through the rear of the 3rd Division's zone of advance.
