HORNBACH
A 3rd Signal Co. wrecking crew clears the remains of 3rd Division Assistant Commander Brig. Gen. Robert N. Young's radio jeep. The parked jeep, outside a command post, took a direct hit from an enemy shell in Althornbach as the division advanced on Rimschweiler, Germany. Inside the truck is T/5 Thomas A. Lane and standing to the right is Lt. Harold L. Willingham.
