NUREMBERG HAUPTMARKT
April 20, 1945

Nuremberg's Hauptmarkt, renamed Adolf Hitler Platz in 1933, witnessed Nazism in full regalia. The bomb damage was extensive around the Hauptmarkt To the right of center are the damaged 15th-century cathedral towers of St. Sebald - Sebalduskirche completed in 1275.
