BAD KISSINGEN

A 3rd Division sound truck broadcasting to the captured city drives through Bad Kissingen on April 8, 1945. The 3rd Division was engaged on a wide front in all directions around Bad Kissengen. Action north of Bad Kissengen moved as far north as Frankenheim, captured on April 7, and Neustadt. To the south, units moving out from Rieneck captured Hammelberg and Fuchstadt by April 6.
