MARSEILLE
On Marseille's highest hill, Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde overlooks the port city from a height of 154 meters. The current basilica was built between 1853 to 1870; at the top of a 60-meter tower and a 12.5-meter belfry is the Virgin and Child.
