ANZIO BEACHHEAD
The Anzio engagement was at a stalemate with the battlefield resembling the trench warfare of the previous World War. The 3rd Division was in reserve in the Padiglione Woods and it found time to hold a Quartermaster Rodeo under artificial fog from the engineers on May 7, 1944. The MC's large button reads "Clark for Senator".
