3rd DIVISION SERVICE COMPANY
3rd Infantry Division Clubmobile
Flo and Liz pose with Joe Fronek's crew and the 3rd Division doughnut kitchen in the field somewhere in France. The field operation was common in Sicily and Italy as well. Doughnut machines were in place in Italy shortly after the Salerno Invasion in September 1943. Many different vehicles were used to deliver doughnuts to the various units with one unique mode of transportation being the donkeys used in the rugged mountains of Sicily and Italy.
