FAUCOGNEY
The 1st and 3rd Battalions of the 30th Regiment, after relief from the 117th Reconnaissance Squadron assembled for rest on the east side of a bridge over the Breuchin River on the Rue Marcel Mauffrey in Faucogney. Although the town was heavily damaged, its citizens decorated to welcome their liberators.
