LA BOURGONCE
Exterior of a Company C, 3rd Medical Battalion underground aid station in the Mortagne Forest near La Bourgonce. By the end of October, the chilly nights in the Vosges turned cold and the hill tops reveal a dusting of snow. New winter gear included fur-lined jackets, wool sweaters and socks, knit caps, gloves and bedrolls.
