GRANDVILLERS
Lt. Gen. Lucian K. Truscott and Maj. Gen O'Daniel at Grandvillers CP as Truscott bids farewell to 3rd Division HQ officers. By assuming command of the Fifteenth Army and then the Fifth Army in December 1944, Truscott had the rare distinction, he shared only with Seventh Army Commander Alexander Patch, to hold commands at the division, corps and army level during WWII.
