BROUVELIEURES
Engineers use an M31 Armored Recovery Vehicle (ARV) named "Sad Sack" to retrieve another recovery vehicle on a forest road near Brouvelieures. Units of the 3rd Division advanced next on Les Rouge Eaux and Etival where the newly arrived, 600-man German 201st Mountain Battalion was decisively hit by the 7th Regiment.
