BROUVELIEURES
Brouvelieures was under deadly artillery assault from high ground positions to the west. While the 7th Regiment fought for Brouvellieres, the 30th Regiment had broken through from Le Tholy almost as far as St. Die. An MP controls traffic at this intersection where the road turns east toward St. Die. The garage here on Rue de L Hotel de Ville is signed with Renault, Shell, and Terrot Oil. The street direction sign includes "SS" bolts.
