KEHL
The 3rd Division spent three weeks in control of Strasbourg performing policing activities. Situated on the Rhine River, the Rhone-Rhine Canal and the Ill River, Strasbourg was the largest city held by the 3rd Division in France. This sentry is guarding the Vaubon Bridge heading east to Kehl on the Rohn au Rhin Canal just south of the Commerce Basin in Strasbourg's Rhine River port.
