NORTH OF MONTELIMAR
Deadly fire from the 36th Division field artillery stopped this train hauling a German 380 mm "Siegfried" rail cannon north from Montelimar. Two 380 mm and four 280 mm guns operated by Eisenbahnbatteries 749 were captured at Montelimar.
