KEHL
The 1899 building housed the harbor master's office in the Basin of Commerce, one of several river basins in the Rhine River port east of Strasbourg and near the main rail crossing into Kehl. Kehl was a rail hub for the Paris to Vienna line in the mid 1880s. After WW2 it was a suburb of Strasbourg and later returned to Germany in 1953.
