HORNBACH

Soldiers of the 15th Regiment move through Hornbach towards Rimschweiler and the Siegfried Line in mid-March 1945 as part of the Sixth Army Group's Operation Undertone assault on the Siegfried Line. The 3rd Division faced German troops with the 246th and 559th VG divisions of Army Group G.
