PORT OF ANZIO
The Allied forces were continually supplied throughout the four months they occupied the beachhead with supplies off loaded directly through the Port of Anzio. By 22 May the U.S. 36th Infantry Division landed in time or the breakout, bringing the total number of Allied troops at Anzio to seven full divisions.
