Three Doughnuts and a Grin
3rd Infantry Division Clubmobile
The women working in the Clubmobiles were affectionately known as "doughnut dollies", "doughnuteers", "doughgirls", and "rover girls". They worked under difficult situations in forward areas and were known to be diligent and courageous. They traveled from unit to unit or to assembly and rest areas. Next to the women serving them, the doughnuts and the coffee were among the soldier's most cherished memories of home. Flo Wick captioned this photo "Three Doughnuts and a Grin".
