According to the official Clubmobile newspaper, there were approximately 580 Clubmobiler workers serving in the ETO in August 1944. From 1941 to 1946, the Red Cross spent over $700 million dollars with ten-percent allocated to Club and Clubmobile services, their third highest budget item. Over 15,500 A.R.C. volunteers served abroad, with as many as 13,500 women – approximately 75 percent of A.R.C. employees abroad during World War II.
