REGINAL GARDINER - Kassel, Germany

Reginald Gardiner poses with photographer Eddie Hausner. Gardiner's film debut was in Alfred Hitchcok's silent film "The Lodger" in 1927. His long career brought him into the 1960s when he appeared in many popular television shows. Hausner was a film inspector for Paramount Pictures before entering the war. He joined the New York Times in 1946 and spent five decades there becoming one of the newspaper's top news photographers; named as a senior photographer in 1990.
