U.S. RIVIERA RECREATIONAL AREA - St. Tropez
A victory party attended by Vice Admiral Hewitt, United States Navy commander of amphibious operations in North Africa and southern Europe, at St. Tropez with 3rd Division officers. To the left is Maj. Frederick Spreyer (3rd Division HQ) and Maj. Perkins (3rd Signal Co. C.O.), Hewitt is on the right with Brig. Gen. William T. Sexton (3rd Division Commander late 1945) to his right, with Col. Lloyd Ramsey (7th Regiment) peeking over Sexton's right shoulder.
