Dottie Shands serving soldiers returning from a training mission on the docks of Pozzuoli after dark.
The Redcross Club and Clubmobile programs followed the advancing armies. The clubs opened in North Africa moved ahead with the troops and what was left behind became hospital areas. Clubs in Rome and Naples served thousands of serviceman.
