Lt. George H. "Fuzzy" Fezell
Lt. Col. Jess F. Thomas, Division Signal Officer and Lt. George H. "Fuzzy" Fezell, 3rd Signal Co. CO (right). The idea and direction for the 3rd Division photographers was Fezell's. Jack Cole and Howard Nickerson were drafted from the 10th Engineers on the Anzio beachhead as the first two members of "Fuzzy's Folly" and were soon joined by Bill Heller.
