ROME

The 3rd Division garrison headquarters at the entrance to the University city of La Sapienza in Rome. The university was built, following Mussolini's orders, between 1932 and 1935, under the direction of architect Marcello Piacentini. The relief above includes Mussolini's name, the 3rd Division sign reads: "Headquarters, City of Rome, Garrison Troops".
