ANZIO

The Allied forces were continually supplied throughout the four months they occupied the beachhead with supplies offloaded directly onto the Anzio and Nettuno piers and waterfront. By 22 May the U.S. 36th Infantry Division landed, bringing the total number of Allied troops at Anzio to seven full divisions.
