REMIREMONT, FRANCE - 1944
3rd Infantry Division Clubmobile
Liz Elliott and Flo Wicks chat with 3rd Division Commander "Iron Mike" O'Daniel in Remiremont, France. As the weather turned to fall, the division was heading into the Vosge Mountains. Flo wrote: "Things have slowed down ... and the boys are having a tough fight. The weather is cold and winter looks discouraging in that respect. It rains a lot, which makes it miserable but we get used to wading in mud."
